Marriage Matters are a series of new Marriage Preparation Seminars designed specifically to assist dating couples in their journey to receive one another in marriage. These explore significant relational aspects, which include: A Meaningful Life, Our Marriage: The Promise to Love, Relationship and Lifelong Journey, Sexuality and the Shaping of Character, Skills for Managing Life, and Spirituality: The Path to Inner Freedom.
Marriage Matters is Couple-Focused whereby couples are seated together and work out exercises both individually and as a couple. An innovative concept applied in these seminars is see-judge-act, thus short presentations are followed by couple-discussion and reflection on future actions. At the end couples are presented with a certificate of attendance that is eligible to be presented when registering for marriage in the Catholic Church.
